Spring Cleaning Office Edition

Before we knew it we were four months into 2022 and counting! Maybe your home is in order, all cleaned and organized (not yet - check out our blog on home organization tips) but is your office space?

The office sometimes gets overlooked, but it’s can be the first impression you give your clients. It conveys how efficient and structured you are just by how tidy your work space is kept. Feeling ready to tackle your office space quickly, just in time to start hitting those 2nd quarter goals? Keep reading!

Get your desk in order

In with the old and out with the new! Paperless? Shred those 2021 docs and create your new 2022 folders. Do you work in an industry where you have to retain paper files? Now is the time to bust out the banker boxes and get them into storage (not the corner of your office!). Wipe down your desk and clean the fingerprints off your computer screen. This is also a good time to re-sort all the misc items that collect in your drawers, from paperclips to goodies and snacks.

Deep clean the carpets

Yes, we know you do it at home, but your office carpet needs some scrubbing too. Even if you hire a company, steam cleaning the carpet or rug is imperative. 

Check on your decor

Dust the photos and even the plants. Make sure the greenery looks healthy and vibrant. Remove any clutter that you’ve collected, but remember to keep your office reflective of your work personality!
